| 179544 | 792656 | 5 | I am very thankful for the learning opportunity. My lack of experience in programming did not prove to be a liability due to the excellence of the instructor and the unexpected but greatly appreciated small class size (2 students - 1 student (myself) for some of the time). |

Had the class been larger, I may have been a drag on the class. I feel fortunate that I ended up in a class with so few students as a result. I was concerned that I might be totally lost in the class due to my inexperience - However, I only wanted to understand Perl well enough so that I could read and "tweak" existing Perl scripts at my company. Surprisingly, the instructor helped me so much that I think I can go back and create some Perl scripts of my own. |

| 179544 | 792656 | 5 | I have had many, many instructors and professors in my life and I would say that David Slimp was one of the best teacher I have ever learned from. It is rare to find someone who has command of the subject matter and the ability to convey that knowledge to their students in such a powerful way. While many possess the necessary technical expertise, few can pass on that knowledge like David can. I believe that the ability to teach well is a gift and David certainly has that gift. He has a teacher's heart - the desire to communicate and pass on knowledge. I really enjoyed the class. |

That was a great help to me -- if it had cancelled , I may not have been able to reschedule. David Slimp was more than able to handle the challenge of teaching 1 or 2 people.
